Located in South Australia, Indian Plaza is a thriving grocery group with 5 stores. Serving local residents with Indian groceries, a diverse range of items are retailed from fresh produce through to general grocery and takeaways.
The owner decided to equip each outlet with a new checkout solution. Any system needed to be flexible enough to work across each of the groups three very different operations: grocery stores, a warehouse and takeaway.
Vectron proposed their multi site grocery POS system. Using the latest in centralized database and communications technology, live data could be seen for all sites. The system also covered every function required to manage a diverse operation.

Integrated hardware and software was supplied for each store along with the latest in scanner scale and touch screen checkout technologies. A full back office suite with advanced reporting and stock control complemented the set up.
For stores like Indian Plaza fast serve times were critical to prevent; long queues, crowded stores and lost custom. Highly configurable touch screens were configured to exactly match each type of operation. Brilliant graphical buttons and integrated eftpos made one step order processing possible.
Barcode scanning also made checkout times fast and error free. Adding new products and changing prices was easy and instant.

Vectron’s grocery system comes with fully integrated stock control, reporting on stock levels, daily takings and sales data. With real time communication of data from store up to head office, managers can centrally keep on top of stock levels, spot slow sellers, loopholes and trends.
