A favourite with Brunswick locals the hotel recently went through a restoration that now comprises of 12 individually themed hotel rooms, public bar, private cellar bar and upstairs cocktail bar and balcony. The menu has a tradition pub influence with a modern and on trend flare. And while the band room is no longer there’s still a good Sunday music session.
THE DUCK INN
Eight years after the Ducking was raise to the ground in Black Saturday, the pub has been totally rebuilt and opened in November. The traditional country pub provides a family friendly bar with great meals and a few local beers on tap.
ST LEONARDS HOTEL BY THE SEA
Situated on the Bellarine Peninsula the hotel once featured in TV series Seachange has one of the Top Ten Beer Gardens in Victoria. While the huge beer garden has amazing views over Port Phillip Bay, the menu serves up classic pub food with produce sources from the local area where possible and loads of local fresh seafood.
